Kingsley Scott Suits ’42

Body

Kingsley Suits of Webster Grove, Mo., died May 3, 2010, in Houston, Texas.

After Princeton, Kingsley spent three and a half years in the Army and was discharged as a first lieutenant. He then returned to St. Louis and managed a family business, the Hollis E. Suits Family Laundry.

Kingsley had wide interests. He was a lover of classical music and also was active in the Kirkwood (Mo.) Theater Guild. He was a master duplicate bridge player and a kite hobbyist.

Kingsley married Joanne Bowden in December 1941, and they had two sons, Austin and David, and two daughters, Darcie Davis and Ellen Michaels. Joanne predeceased Kingsley. To his children, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, the class sends sympathy.
