Miner Carey Markham ’21

MINER CAREY MARKHAM died it his home in Paris oil Oct. 12, 1991, six days after his 95th birthday. He was born in Ripley, N.Y. During WWI he served as a first lieutenant with the Air Service, A.F,.F. He transferred from Syracuse Univ. to Princeton at tile start of junior year and was a member of the Aero Club.

The end of WWII found him in France with the rank of colonel, in the U.S. Air Force. He stayed in France and was for many years European manager of United Van Lines. Mark was a widower and is survived by a daughter, three grandchildren, and five greatgrandchildren.
