The Good-Enough Life

Most people strive for greatness, and it’s a goal collective society has deemed as important. Alpert argues this obsession is actually damaging to our health, relationships, and overall well being. Instead, he makes the case to strive for a good-enough life to lessen our stressors, cut-throat competition, and divisions. The Good-Enough Life (Princeton University Press) highlights how we can work together to cultivate a rewarding leisurely life, without tearing each other apart in our current race to the top.
