What is the most important characteristic a person can possess? Studies show the answer is honesty. Yet dishonesty is running rampant as technological advances from AI to social media and more have made it easy to spew fake news and skirt around hard work. In The Honesty Crisis (Oxford University Press) Miller addresses this problem in the context of his research on honesty and encourages a reassessment of the moral character of the world. He cautions that continuing on this path of lies and deceit will lead to a troubling future.
