In Response to: A COVID Limerick [6]

I saw you published a COVID limerick by Paul Hertelendy '53 on May 13, so I guess it’s finally safe now to share my tacky haiku. To preface it, a coworker asked me if she should lose sleep over global warming and I responded on Nov. 12 that she should be more worried that we were overdue for a pandemic. I later told her I hate it when I'm right!

Having attended the drive-through funeral for a COVID victim on May 2, I recognize that “there but for the grace of God go I.” Pray for the afflicted, and stay safe, all!
