In Response to: Q&A: Professor Julian E. Zelizer on Newt Gingrich’s Partisan Politics [6]

Having seen history professor Julian Zelizer on CNN, I was not surprised to read his strident political attack on former Speaker Gingrich and President Trump (On the Campus, October issue). Why couldn’t the PAW print a rebuttal — or perhaps better yet, stay out of the political thicket entirely (as Justice Frankfurter once advised)?
