In Response to: John W. Bergin ’47
An extraordinary man and family as well ...
They took me in as a young college student and I shared some of the very best times I have ever had with Dr. Bergin and Dot, Jimmy, my pal, Nancy and Susan! His oldest son Merrill was kind to me. Later he helped me through a very tragic period when my sister was killed . He had great taste, loved a good wine and his convertible sports car.
I still morn his leaving to this very day. All of his children possess his great qualities and dear Dot, a brilliant woman, how she has managed to keep going on is beyond my comprehension for she is now in her 90s and is the very same woman I first met in 1972! I adore her.
Miss you Doc!
