Andrew Derek Bulkley ’43

ANDY DIED Dec. 8, 1993, of complications arising from emphysema. He was 72. A native of Rye, N.Y., he lived and practiced pediatric medicine in Doylestown, Penn., from 195383. His last years were spent in Green Valley, Ariz.

Andy served in WWII as a It. instructor of artillery and gunnery, later seeing service in China. He was discharged in 1951, with the rank of captain. He graduated from Cornell Medical School, following his graduation from Princeton in 1943 and the years of army duty. Andy was a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and the Military Order of the World Wars.

In 1953, Andy married Dorris Taylor. Other survivors include four children: Duncan Lane, Andrea Clay Parker, Sarah Elizabeth Bernhardt, and Abigail Roberts. To the entire family, we offer our deepest sympathies on their loss.
