Douglas T. Geddes ’43

Body

TREY PASSED AWAY Jan. 15, 1993, apparently from a stroke, at the age of 71.

A retired builder, he was a native and lifelong resident of Lexington, Ky. A 1939 graduate of Woodberry Forest School, Trez entered Princeton with the rest of the Class, but left for Army service in WWII. He finished up his education at Transylvania College and the Univ. of Kentucky in 1948.

The past president of Howe Construction Company, Trez was active in church work and as a charter member of the Idle Hour Country Club.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, the former Libby Higgins; two sons, Douglas T 11 and Henry Todd; two daughters, Mrs. J. Gatewood Gay and Julie T; three grandchildren; and several cousins.

To all of Trez's survivors, we extend our deepest and most heartfelt condolences.
