Edward K. Goethe III *81

Body

EDWARD KEMEYS GOETHE III died Feb. 9, 1994, at his father's home in Titusville, Fla., after a long illness. He was 41. He was born in Gainesville, Fla., and grew up all over the world, since his father was in the military. He got his bachelor's in political science from New College, in Sarasota, Fla., in 1975. He came to the Woodrow Wilson School, where he got a master's.

He worked in N.Y.C. in real estate for three years, then spent four years teaching English in Japan. He returned to the U.S., and made plans to start a real-estate business in Key West. Deteriorating health forced him to change his plans, so he returned home and lived with his father for the remainder of his life. To Mr. Goethe's father and his many friends, we extend sincere sympathy.
