James Augustus Walsh Jr. ’39

JIM DIED Aug. 2, 1991, in Vernon Hills, Ill., where he had been living since his retirement, about five years ago, as attorney with United Charities of Chicago, Legal Aid Bureau. He received his J.D. fromt Loyola Univ. in 1951 and became a member of the Chicago Bar Assn. Then for a time he switched from law to investment banking with Goodbody and Co., Chicago. Later he returned to the law and struck out on his own in real estate financing.

Jim was a U.S.A.A.F. pilot during WWII. In 1956 he married Ann Cullen, They had two children, Thomas Michael and Kathleen Mary. Ann died two years ago. To Kathleen, Thomas, and to Jim's three grandchildren we offer our sincere sympathy.
