JOHN DORSEY passed away Sept. 19, 1990, after a ten-month battle with lymphoma. John grew up in Douglaston, Long island, and prepared for Princeton at Phillips Academy in Andover. He started Princeton in June 1944 with the first contingent of our Class. John was a member of Dial Lodge. He was a great electronics tinkerer while in college and is also remembered for having a real yellow Rolls Royce. He graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering in June 1949 after a stint in the U.S. Navy. John joined Alan B. Dumont Labs and then went to Walter Kidde. Later, he was associated with Natl. Music Publishing Co. After graduation John married the former Barbara Fort, At the time of his death, they resided in Ridgewood, NJ., where they had lived for many years. To Barbara; their four children, jean, Meg, John, and Amy; and five grandchildren; the Class extends its deepest sympathy.
