John H. Hammett ’31

JOHN HARDIE HAMMETT died Sept. 16, 1994. He was born in Philadelphia to insurance broker Edwin W. '94 and Gertrude Mahoney. He had no siblings. He prepared at Chestnut Hill Academy and Poly Prep. At Princeton, he participated in lacrosse, football, Theatre Intime, and the Philadelphia Society. Senior year, he and Buck Pendergast lived at Colonial Club. The class regrets his loss.
