Larz Ferguson Anderson II ’81

Body

LARZ ANDERSON died at his home in N.Y.C. on Aug. 25, 1992, after a long battle with AIDS. Larz will be remembered by his many friends for the depth of his kindness and consideration for others.

Larz joined the Class from St. Mark's School in Dallas. As an undergraduate, he majored in architecture and coxed for the lightweight crew for three years, including two years as varsity coxswain. Larz was a member of Cap & Gown for one year, before becoming an independent.

After graduation, Larz worked briefly as an architect and then attended Columbia Univ. Business School. He then spent his entire career at Baron Capital, Inc., an investment management firm in N.Y.C., attaining the position of V.P.

The Class extends its sympathy to William Megevick, Larz's companion of ten years; his parents, Larz '57 and Marylouise Anderson; his brother Nicholas; and his sisters Catherine and Carey.
