Martin L. Rubin ’57

MARTIN DIED of cancer May 29, 1993, in Manchester, Conn. He was born in Newark, N.J., and raised in Gloversville, NX He came to Princeton from Williston Academy.

At Princeton, Martin majored in biology. He was a member of Dial Lodge, played football, and was sports editor of the yearbook. Senior year, his roommates were Marv Zim and Mike Glazerman.

After Princeton, he graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1961. He then practiced in Rochester and Albany, N.Y., finally settling in Manchester. For 27 years, he lived in Manchester and served as chairman and president of the Manchester Hospital medical staff ' He was president of Temple Beth Sholom and chairman of the Manchester United Jewish Appeal. He enjoyed coaching youth basketball.

To his widow, Donna; his children, Burton '85, Jonathan, Paul, and Julie; and his grandchildren, the Class extends its sincere condolences.
