Mervin L. Baker ’59

Body

We have little to trace the Princeton career or, indeed, the post-Princeton career, of Mervin Baker.  He died Nov. 13, 2014, but we were not made aware of his death until recently. Sometime before April 1984 he opted to be removed from Princeton's mailing list.

The first connection we have with Mervin is his address upon entrance to Princeton, living in East Aurora, N.Y., and attending East Aurora High School. As a freshman he lived at 342 Brown. His address at one point shifted to Ellenton, Fla., but returned to East Aurora by the date of our 10th reunion and apparently remained there until his death. He was born in 1937 and was survived by his wife, Margaret; four children; and several grandchildren, to all of whom we extend belated condolences.
