Robert M. McCulloch Jr. ’55

Robert was born Dec. 12, 1933, in New York City, the son of Robert M. McCulloch ’21. He died Feb. 11, 2011.

Robert came to us from Lawrenceville. At Princeton, he majored in classics and wrote his thesis on early Christianity. He joined Key and Seal Club and earned numerals in freshman cross-country and track. He also won a varsity letter in cross-country and a J.V. letter in track. During his junior year, he participated in the Campus Fund Drive. Senior-year roommates at 34 1879 Hall included Frederic Thomas and John Coogan.

After serving out his Army ROTC commission, Robert graduated from Harvard Law School and took up the business of counseling. He married Olivia Hamilton, and they resided at 1150 Fifth Ave., in New York. They had a son, Robert J. McCulloch.
