Bob died March 6, 2018, at age 96, in Pittsburgh, Pa., surrounded by his loving family.

He prepared at Shadyside Academy, where he played football, basketball, and baseball. At Princeton he majored in psychology and was active in intramural touch football and basketball. He was a member of Tower Club.

He left Princeton in February 1943 to enter the Army Air Corps. During 33 months as a B-24 bombardier/navigator he earned a four-leaf cluster and returned to Princeton in 1946.

He was a successful businessman and owned an insurance agency and multiple buildings. He was also co-owner/founder of a computer firm and an active member of the community and his church. He was a kind, generous, and loving person.

In 1953 he married Janet Crediford. He was preceded in death by Janet and is survived by children Rob Jr., Terri Ann, Wendy, and George, and six grandchildren.
