ROBERT MCCLENALLAN DIED Oct. 31, 1993, in Barnstable, where he had lived since 1978. Wally was born in Egypt, where he lived until 1918. He was fluent in French and Arabic. He was associated with American Meter and Gulf Oil. During WWII, he served in the air corps, retiring as a colonel. After retirement in 1965, he did consulting work for the State Dept. and the U.S. Information Agency. He was a member of the Hyannis Golf Club, the Beach Club, and the Barnstable Yacht Club. At Princeton, he was a member of one of our great crews. He is survived by his widow, his son Robert, his daughter Sallie Thompson, a brother, and four grandchildren. To them we extend our sympathy.
