Thomas Newsam Doyle III ’42

Body

TOM DIED SEPT. 2, 1993. Active in real estate for nearly all of his business life, Tom had divided his time in recent years between Boynton Beach, Fla., and Somers, N.Y.

Joining the class from Lawrenceville, Tom left before graduation. He spent four years in the army transportation corps during the war and was promoted from private to First lieutenant. After the war, he worked briefly for the John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Co., before entering the commercial real-estate business in NYC. He joined Ley Management Corp., where he served as president for more than 20 years.

To his widow, June; to his daughters, Patricia, Terron, and Linda; to his seven grandchildren; and to his six step-grandchildren, the class offers its heartfelt sympathies.
