W. Gerard Tuttle ’22

Body

WE SADLY REPORT that W. Gerard "Gerry" Tuttle died Sept. 5, 1988, in Laguna Hills, Calif. His wife, Margerita, died in 1981. Gerry is survived by a daughter who lives in San Francisco and a brother. Gerry and his wife returned to California in 1966 after his retirement to be near his daughter and his seven step-grandchildren and their families. Gerry moved to a nursing home in 1985 and we had no contact with him since that time.

Gerry was born in 1899 in Westfield, N.J., and attended high school there. He moved to California after graduating from Princeton and worked for several companies in L.A., specializing in employee and human relations. He moved back to the East Coast in 1955 as a v.p. of America Bosch Arma Corp. After returning to California, he served as a consultant for Pepperdine College. He attended all major reunions and contributed frequently to the class column.
