William G. Galliher Jr. ’33

Body

BILL DIED Oct. 31, 1994, at the VA Medical Center in Coatesville, Pa., after a long illness. He was a native and resident of Washington, D.C., when he joined us, after graduating from St. Albans school. In college, he belonged to Elm Club, the Triangle Club, and the Glee Club and was on the squad of the 150-lb. football team. He roomed with Ray Carter for two years and then with Charley Brick. After graduation, Bill acquired his LLB. at Natl. Univ. in Washington and was an attorney with F.H.A. prior to WWII.

Bill joined the Navy and became a commander. After the war, he went to work as a tax attorney for the accounting firm Ernst and Young, and was with them for the rest of his active career. After retirement, Bill was active in various community-service organizations. He is survived by his widow, three daughters, and four grandchildren, to whom we extend our sympathy.
