BILL PLAUTH died in Atlanta on Feb. 1, 1990. He prepared at Poly Prep in Brooklyn. At Princeton he was a member of the cross country and track teams. He was engaged in sales during his entire business career. He was associated with the Electric Storage Battery Co., Penn Mutual Life, and John H. Best & Sons for over 30 years. He took early retirement to pursue his hobbies of cruising and sailing. He moved to Atlanta several years ago to be close to his son, Bill Jr. '53.
