Beyond Fast

Beyond Fast (Simon & Schuster) is a modern underdog story of perseverance, trust, and sacrifice in the name of teamwork — and cross country. Lear collaborates with authors Sean Brosnan and Andrew Greif to share Coach Brosnan’s zero-to-hero high school cross country team story. His own past ambitions as a collegiate All-American runner inspired Brosnan to train a team of passionate high schoolers in 2016, leading them to three national titles and representing their country in the Olympics. With many trials, successes, and lessons learned, this personal chronicle shows us the power of self-belief and determination.
