Boathouse flooded in hurricane’s wake

As Hurricane Irene approached, Princeton’s rowing coaches raised equipment at the Boathouse at least three feet above floor level, a foot above the previous high-water mark. Still, four feet of muddy water from Lake Carnegie soaked the ground floor, damaging boats, electrical equipment, and the docks.
