The film follows them as they prepare for and tackle a 1,300-foot ascent of Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain, and chronicles their interaction, without translators, with the Himba, a pastoral tribe. Waypoint Namibia was chosen as an official selection at the Boulder Adventure Film Festival and at the Wild and Scenic Film Festival in Nevada City, Calif.
