ROBERT R. LUTON, of Darien, Conn., died Mar. 30, 1992, after a brief illness.

After a oneyear stint in the U.S. Navy, Bob came to Princeton from Secaucus, N.J.the only person in his high school class to attend college. His roommates at Princeton included Bill Anderson, Phil Daum, Vert Mooney, and Nels Runger. He was a member of Campus Club, manager of the Student Express Agency, and a touring member of Triangle Club.

Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy as a supply officer and went on to receive his master's from Harvard Business School in 1960. Over his 30year career as a management consultant and business executive, he worked at Exxon; Booz, Allen & Hamilton; and CBS. Before his death, he was V.P. of planning and marketing with Jac Jacobsen Industries Inc. of Greenwich, Conn.

Bob was active in the Darien community, working with local youth groups, singing in choral groups, and serving as an elder of the Noroton Presbyterian Church. He and his family enjoyed summer vacations on Martha's Vincyard and the Canadian shore of Lake Eric and loved having Princetonians visit them there.

Bob is survived by his widow, Barbara, and his three children, Elizabeth Mesrobian '85, Robert, and James. The Class's sympathies are extended to each of them.
