William W. Graessley, professor of chemical engineering emeritus, died Feb. 18. He was 83. Graessley was a faculty member from 1987 until 1998, when he became an adjunct professor at Northwestern. He published extensively on radiation cross-linking of polymers and the thermodynamics of polymer blends. His awards include the High Polymer Physics Prize.
