A quick note of thanks for your thoughtful work and for bringing attention to undergrad mental health. This is an issue my husband and I care a lot about. In working on an open letter last year (which Brooke Shields ’87 kindly joined), we were grateful to fellow alums (and a few brave current faculty members) for being generous with their insights and stories of their experiences. Nearly everyone had a story of their own or of a close friend or family member to share.

I fear the countrywide mental health crisis is felt ever greater at Princeton, a highly pressured environment. I’m hopeful alums will continue to come forward in various ways to show support for the undergrad community, and I’m sure your recent work will inspire such support.
