In Response to: Reunions 2010

The Commencement/Reunions edition this year (July 7) was far and away the best ever, with much more substance than usual — interesting, provocative, and reassuring that Princeton is still the Best Old Place of All.

I particularly liked the recollections of why the seniors skipped the P-rade in 1970, the “thesis as art” segment, the All-Night Rise Up event (I sang in the choir and Glee Club), and the P-rade improvements.

The small version of the painting of the start of the P-rade [by John Hutton ’82] looked splendid. Surely someone will arrange for reprints to be available.

Editor’s note: John Hutton says he expects that signed prints of his painting will be available. He can be contacted at
