In Response to: Picking alumni trustees

The Committee to Nominate Alumni Trustees, or CTNAT   (letters, June 1), is made up of 10 alumni volunteers, both undergraduate and graduate alumni, drawn from across the country and representing the broad spectrum of Princeton’s alumni body. Nominations come to the committee from many sources, and potential candidates come from all walks of life. As the committee members research the suggestions, they rely on the assistance of alumni leaders from the classes, the Association of Princeton Graduate Alumni, regional associations, and affiliated groups. Among other things, the committee looks for candidates who would bring a range of professional and civic experiences to the board and can weigh issues with an open mind and sound judgment. For more information about CTNAT, its history, and its processes, I encourage alumni to read pages 9–11 in the April 6 issue of PAW.
