I also have had dreams of going to a final exam on course material I had no knowledge of whatsoever. My most traumatic academic nightmare was of having a master’s thesis presentation due in two months, when I had not yet found a thesis subject. After a very brief teaching career, I also dreamt of having to teach a first day in a class, but did not know in what subject.
