Hi, thanks for a great tribute to Tom Poole, who was our Russian history lecturer from 1979-1980 at Uni of Queensland.
He was a standout lecturer, and he brought Russian history alive for us. My husband and I were at Uni together and had just started going out. Tom was a highlight of our Uni education.
Please pass on our tribute to his family. We really admired him, enjoyed his approach and have never forgotten him.
We are now aged 57 and 60, and back then we were 18/19 and 20/21.
