I am a graduate alumnus and I attended Professor Fried’s lecture at the Woodrow Wilson School in 1992 or 1993 on drafting the constitution for Czech Republic. Very interestingly, my son Phillip attended Harvard Law School from 2021-2024 and Professor Fried was his adviser as teaching fellow. When I attended the lecture in 1990s, I was hoping one day, China would have a new democratic constitution just as Czech Republic has!
