Remembering Dr. Glat

I only found out about his passing today, but I was planning to let him know how much I appreciated what he did for my daughter. A few years after he helped reconstruct her arm after a severe break, he spotted me in line at an airport. Amazingly he remembered me … where I lived, what I did for a living, etc. ( I hadn’t recognized him) and he remembered my daughter. He told me that with a new laser that they got at the hospital, he could reduce the serious scarring on her arm. That week, we made the appointment. Her scarring is so reduced now that when I asked her on a few occasions if she wanted to see if Dr. Glat could do any more, she said no, it didn’t bother her anymore. Great job Dr. Glat!
