Irving A. Portner ’52

Irv came to Princeton from Harrison High School in Chicago. He worked on The Daily Princetonian for four years, ending as editorial co-chairman. He joined Dial Lodge, contributed to the Nassau Lit, sang in the Chapel Choir, and participated in Theatre Intime. His roommate was John Pratt.

We know that Irv lived in New York, but have no other details about his life except the date of his death, which occurred Sept. 2, 2011.
