In his memoir Hitchhiking to Hong Kong (Cedar Rapids Press), Thomas Gorman ’73 recounts the experiences he encountered while running a publishing company in Hong Kong, from falling victim to a rat invasion to fishing in a remote lake, spanning the transition from when the Maoist regime sat in Beijing to the post-Mao era in China and Hong Kong.
