Alumni service awards

THE CLASS OF 1983 received the Class of 1926 Trophy for raising $8.3 million during its 25th reunion campaign, the largest amount ever raised by a Princeton class. JAMES E. CRAWFORD III ’68 of Lake Forest, Ill., received the Harold H. Helm Award for sustained service to Annual Giving. The Jerry Horton Award was presented to the ANNUAL GIVING COMMITTEE OF GEORGIA for expanding dollar and participation totals; the committee is headed by WILLIAM F. KASPERS ’70 of Atlanta, the longest-serving regional chairman (34 years). The PRINCETON ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF IDAHO AND MONTANA, the PRINCETON ASSOCIATION OF NEW YORK CITY, and the PRINCETON CLUB OF TULSA received the S. Barksdale Penick Jr. ’25 Award for Schools Committee efforts.
