MEN’S GOLF won its first two tournaments — the Navy Fall Invitational and the Cornell Invitational — for the first time in the team’s 118-year history. Quinn Prchal ’17, right, finished as the individual champion in a 14-team field at Cornell, shooting a 5-under-par 208 for 54 holes.
WOMEN’S GOLF finished second at the Bucknell Invitational Sept. 19–20, led by freshman Amber Wang, who tied for eighth in the individual standings.
Tyler Lussi ’17 scored two goals as WOMEN’S SOCCER opened its Ivy League season with a 3–0 win over Yale Sept. 26. With eight goals in the first nine games, Lussi increased her career total to 36, moving into a tie for fourth place with Jen Hoy ’13 on the program’s all-time scoring list.
Thomas Sanner ’16 scored twice in a 2:35 span to lead MEN’S SOCCER over Binghamton, 3–1, Sept. 26. Princeton improved to 3–2 this season.
MEN’S WATER POLO, the top-ranked team in the East, opened with nine wins in its first 12 matches. All three losses came against teams ranked in the national top 10: Pacific, the University of California-Irvine, and the University of California-Davis.
