Activism a Highlight for One Attendee

For this reunion attendee, coming back for the first time since my 10th reunion, it was the solidarity and community of the Women of 1972 that made this reunion special. As we prepared for our 50th reunion, we came together online to draft and sign a letter of protest in response to the leaked SCOTUS draft. This letter appeared in the June issue of PAW along with an online letter endorsing it by the Men of ’72. The July-August issue of PAW published yet another endorsement by the Class of ’82. As we met joyfully at our 50th reunion, we solidified our commitment to working for reproductive and social justice going forward. And now, in the wake of the Supreme Court decision to scuttle Roe v. Wade, we reaffirm that commitment. Bravo to the brave and engaged Women and Men of 1972!
