I shared this piece with my friends on Facebook and added this comment:
“Jared Polis is the governor of Colorado. Like me, he majored in politics at Princeton. My path took me to county delegate in Denver before he went to college; he’s gone a bit farther. Now age 48, Polis seems to be one of those rarities in politics: a decent person who gets a lot done, in politics, business, financial support and leadership in charitable organizations. Please, read this short piece, and let’s one day elect him president. PS: Yep, he’s gay, but I don't care if he’s gay and were also green like Kermit the Frog and peppermint-flavored, he’s an actual leader.”
