Admirable Support for CTE Research

As a former Princeton football player, born in Cleveland and living in Seattle, I am delighted to see Carl’s career highlighted. His work with CTE is very important; we lost teammate Mark von Kreuter ’85 in part due to the effects of CTE (Mark was diagnosed with Stage 2 CTE by the same BU researchers Carl is supporting). His teammates, classmates, and I support CTE research via the Concussion and CTE Foundation’s annual Race to End CTE. CTE expands well beyond football (consider soccer, rugby, boxing, and all subjected to repeated head trauma, including those in the military). Carl’s example in getting ahead (no pun intended) of CTE is admirable and befitting of a Tiger football legend.
