On the grounds of Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville, Va., is the grave of Judge John Bryan. He died on a fundraising trip for the College of New Jersey. The property was owned by George Divers at the time, who was a friend and neighbor of Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson designed the main portion of the house, which is now a portion of the clubhouse.
