As a faculty member at another institution that struggles with the impacts of automobiles on its campus, I applaud President Eisgruber ’83’s leadership (“Scenery vs. Speed: The Presidential Commute,” On the Campus, Oct. 21). I have commuted by bicycle or on foot for nearly 20 years; it changes the way you see the world.
