In response to: Mr. Boswell Goes to Corsica

"Boswell is back ... he was never away" (Clifton Fadiman, 1950s)

As an old lady longtime Boswell fan, I love this article! It has introduced me to a brilliant historian writing deftly about Boswell, and provides something else I've been looking for -- the link between the Corsican hero and why we have a town named Paoli in Pennsylvania. I also now find that by reading more of Professor Bell's works I will be able to feed another passion, various aspects of France and French history.

Thanks and ever thanks!
