In Response to: The New Look of Legacy

As a child I was taught that all donations should be given anonymously. There is something oxymoronic and hypocritical in taking what is an act of generous self-sacrifice and morally undermining it with a crass desire for recognition. The giver seeks to call attention to himself and the gift is thereby tainted.

Generosity does not go well with egoism.
