Excellent article! Wilson and Col. House knew the formula for manipulating the bloodthirsty laity. Imperialism, ignoring atrocities against its most vulnerable captives, and capitalism were excellent incentives for Wilson's agenda. Nevertheless, I doubt the university evaluates these matters when the job of the popular historian is to whitewash history and erect monuments to ignominious leaders.
