The 'gig at Princeton'

When Pig Pen died, Rolling Stone magazine did a long interview with Jerry Garcia and Bob Weir (as I recall). The interviewer asked if there was any particular concert that stuck out in their memory as particularly great example of Pig Pen being Pig Pen, and they said, “Strangely enough, there was a gig at Princeton ...”

My favorite moment among all the 1967-71 concerts (OK, I missed a couple) was listening to the Fifth Dimension’s bass player on “Let the Sunshine In.” It’s still my favorite bass track.
