In Response to: Oppenheimer and Rotblat: Two Films and Two Physicists’ Choices
I just finished watching The Strangest Dream and am moved beyond measure to learn of Josef Rotblat, his life and work, and the Pugwash Conferences, working for peace in the world. Many thanks to Randal Marlin ’59 for writing to PAW to bring this to readers’ attention. If you’re looking for optimism and hope in today’s troubled times, I encourage you to watch this film, readily available online. As yet another hostile action has broken out in the world, between Israel and Hamas, Josef's message to “remember your humanity” is reverberating in my head.
