Great article. A lot of other things worth seeing in northern Cyprus including the port of Kyrenia and the nearby monastery in Bellapais, a town made famous by Lawrence Durrell in his book Bitter Lemons. Also outside Kyrenia are the ruins of the St. Hillarion castle with marvelous views of the coast and Mediterranean beyond.
